Westbound Films is a growing production company with ongoing project development in New York, Los Angeles, and Seattle. These projects range from short narrative to feature length films, targeting a broad range of audiences with a great diversity of subjects. Westbound is dedicated to telling stories that explore the human condition, the complexities of an ever-changing world, and the common thread that binds it all together. We are focused on bringing a new depth to entertainment.

Westbound’s latest film, Continua, recently premiered at the Vermont International Film Festival. It tells the story of a woman who mysteriously wakes up in a Manhattan restaurant with no idea how she got there. As her day passes, she begins to unravel a trail of clues—a strange homeless man who seems to know her, a boyfriend who thinks she is someone else, and a reflection that is not her own. Unable to escape her lost reality, she soon finds herself in the purgatory of her darkest moment.

10/05/2008 Continua accepted to 2008 Vermont International Film Festival. Screenings scheduled for October 25th and 26th.
   
08/29/2008 Eli Hastings joins Westbound on feature film project, Esperanza, as Executive Producer.
   
08/27/2008 Westbound announces plan to move production office at end of October.
   
07/31/2008 Script development begins on short film, Girl, to be written by Isaac Lane and directed by Dieneke van der Meulen.
   
06/29/2008 Pre-production begins on Meadow, in collaboration with Dreamfields Pictures.
   
05/01/2008 Bob Jones Design creates artwork for Continua poster and DVD cover.
   
04/21/2008 Westbound meets with Out of the Blue author Eli Hastings in Barcelona, Spain to discuss plans for upcoming project.
   
03/31/2008 Westbound travels to The Netherlands to work with composer Jaap Visser on Continua soundtrack.
